Budapest Dance Festival 2016

Two international productions, two Budapest performances, two chamber plays, two co-production performances and dance/theater educational performances were also held at the Budapest Dance Festival organised by the National Dance Theatre between 24 February and 3 March. In addition to the performances by Angelin Preljocaj's Ballet Preljocaj, a special figure of French contemporary dance life, and the Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo from New York, the festival programme featured performances by the Szeged Contemporary Dance Company, Ballet Pécs, Rita Góbi and the Duna Dance Workshop (Duna Táncműhely), Artus and the Central Europe Dance Theatre, the Inversedance-Zoltán Fodor Company and the GG Dance Eger. As an additional programme of the Dance Festival, our spectators could also see dance/theatre educational performances as well as Dance and Creativity, the next part of János Lakatos' highly successful presentation series.
