Compagnie Pál Frenák
This new choreography was inspired by the same memories of Pál Frenák that served as the basis for his early work titled Skateboards. It is as if themes from recent years (relationships, sexuality and gender identity) were taking a back seat now and precedence given to the internal and pulsating states of the single individual and the group, along with the dynamics of the decay and reconstruction of a social existence.

Compagnie Pál Frenák

He is interested in transformation and transition, the borderline between chiselled forms and final identities. The transient state, laden with doubts, where anything clear and indisputable can only surface for a few moments. Stage space and elastic shapes lend definite and clearly defined profiles to this eternal movement, and the explosive presence of the dancers.
