Budapest Ballet Grand Prix

As the institution for training Hungarian dance artists, the Hungarian University of Dance has launched a new ballet competition of outstanding artistic quality to promote the Hungarian dance profession.

Held every year, the Budapest Ballet Grand Prix international ballet competition is open to talented young dancers from all over the world to put their skills, talents and dedication to the test. This event offers them a wide range of opportunities to advance in their dance careers. From Japan to America, competitors come from professional schools and companies from a wide variety of countries to perform their best in three age groups, in both classical and contemporary dance categories.

The qualifying rounds and semi-finals will take place at the National Dance Theatre, while the Closing Gala will be held at the Palace of Arts as the most spectacular finale of BBGP23. 

The gala evening will feature performances by Győr Ballet Company and the winners, medallists and audience award winners of the various categories.

BBGP23 Organisation Comittee reserves the right to change the program.
